Jester Creative grew out of a passion that partners Jen Rennick and Susan Murphy had to create engaging, fun content that audiences could really sink their teeth into. We combined our mutual passion for producing TV shows with Jen’s passion for home renovation and design and thus, The House Healers was born.

The House Healers, ran for three broadcast seasons on RogersTV in Ottawa. It is the story of a group of people who find the most run down, dilapidated houses in the city and transform them into beautiful, functional family homes. It could be a 105 year old house on the verge of collapse, a beachfront cottage in desperate need of a new look, or a 1950s urban property with a bad layout – no challenge is too big for The House Healers.

Our savvy renovators show what really happens when the house is about fall over and the budget is ballooning. They teach us that it really does take months, not hours, to do quality renovations. But they also show what’s possible, to not only take a home from grungy to gorgeous, but do it without breaking the bank and with making a difference to the environment.
