The United Nations Association in Canada held a Model Arctic Council in October 2010, where students from all over the world headed to Whitehorse to conduct a simulation United Nations Arctic Council. It allows students to take on the roles of the various parties comprising the Arctic Council and explore topics of vital importance to the arctic from the point of view of the country or organization they represent.
We were asked by UNA-C to develop a web site to promote the event to students and provide all the necessary information to them for the event. We gave the site an icy, Arctic look and feel and added lots of great information and photos.
This site was developed using the WordPress content management system, to make it easy for staff at UNA-C to update the site.
