When Jen and I started Jester Creative back in 2003, we set out to build a business that would allow us to fully explore our passions through our work. We’ve succeeded in that, through projects like The House Healers, which let us produce, write and edit our own television series and allowed Jen to fully embrace her passion for home renovation. We both get to delve into our passion for teaching and helping others tell their stories, by providing consulting and training services to clients from all walks of life.
In our 18 year friendship, there’s one thing that Jen and I have always shared a real passion for…music. In fact, I think music was probably one of the first things that brought us together as friends. At this point I can’t even count the number of music-themed birthday and Christmas gifts we’ve given to each other over the years.
So it makes perfect sense that when we were asked to become part of the team at MyMusic, we jumped at the chance.
MyMusic, which launches officially today, is one of the most exciting startups we’ve ever seen. It’s a single place where you can explore videos, photos, articles, and tracks from all of your favourite artists. It’s building into a community of music lovers from all over the world, where people can find, discover and share everything to do with any kind of music.
Jester Creative is thrilled to be on board at MyMusic as the Directors of Media and Communications. In our role, we will be managing the online presence of MyMusic. The MyMusic blog will be a source of music news and information, as well as exclusive interviews and videos from some of the world’s top music acts. We’ll be doing all sorts of things on Facebook, Twitter, SoundCloud, and more. It’s all about conversing with music lovers about what they love and building a community of people who share our passion for all things music.
We hope you’ll follow along with us as we embark on this amazing new path with our company. We are super excited to be a part of the remarkable team at MyMusic.
