Jester Creative is thrilled to be a sponsor of the 2012 Cracking-Up the Capital for Mental Health comedy show, happening on February 18th at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. This annual comedy event features 4 of Canada’s top comics – Derek Edwards, Joey Elias, Debra DiGiovanni and Trent McClellan. This fantastic charity event raises money for The Royal Volunteer Association and awareness for mental health in our community.
One rainy day last December, Jester Creative assembled our production team – Producer Susan Murphy, Director of Photography Jason Leroux, Camera and Editing Guru Thomas Leroux, and hair stylist and makeup artist to the stars Kevin Crawley, to shoot a 30 second promo video for the event with Cracking-Up the Capital’s emcee Patrick McKenna, of “Traders” and “Red Green” fame. We had a really fun time with Patrick. He’s talented beyond belief and is a joy to work with.
Here’s the end result, which is currently airing on CBC Television in Ottawa.
