One of my favourite WordPress features is the scheduling tool, it’s such a time saver!
I do my blog writing in chunks, often cranking out 3 or 4 posts in a writing session. Instead of hanging onto them until I’m ready to post (and running the risk of forgetting to post altogether), I will schedule the posts in WordPress to go live at a later time. It’s so convenient!
Scheduling is easy. In the Add New Post window, under the Publish Widget, click on the Edit link next to Publish Immediately. A date and time will appear. Simply set the date and time you want your post to go live, click OK, then hit Schedule and you’re done! (Note that the time displayed is a 24 hour clock!).
Make scheduling in WordPress your friend, and you’ll never forget to put a post up again!
