If you’re making plans for your business for 2017, that’s a great thing. We always use the first couple of days of a new year to set goals and think about how we want to provide even greater value to our existing and new clients and prospects.
A big part of planning your business is about figuring out how to market it. Building and maintaining an online presence is hard work, but it doesn’t have to be an overwhelming task. Here are a few things you can do right away to start the new year off right for your business.
Take a Good Long Look at Your Web Site
Go look at your web site right now. How does it make you feel? Are you thrilled with it ? Chances are, there are at least some things you want to change about it.
Now, go check out your Google Rank here: (https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/) – does it make you cringe?
Finally, visit your site on your mobile device. How’s it looking?
It’s likely that there is room for improvement in one or all of these areas. It’s vitally important to keep your web site (your home base) up to date and looking and functioning well. Get in touch with us and we’ll help you figure out how you’re going to do just that.
Use Social Media More Effectively
Maybe you’ve wanted to start a blog for your business, or enhance your Instagram feed, or really ramp up on Facebook Ads this year. Well there’s no time like the present! Figure out a plan for making social media a major focus of your business marketing.
For example, it doesn’t have to cost a lot to advertise on Facebook and it’s one of the biggest returns on investment that our clients see in their marketing efforts.
We can help you consider how you might use social media to start conversations with your clients, or share information that matters to your audience, and then set up a game plan that will allow you to spend some time this year making it happen.
Develop a Training Plan
Still feeling like building and growing your online presence is a daunting task? Perhaps you just need a little motivation. There are so many options for online training these days, it’s mind boggling.
But if you’re looking to sit down with an expert and really get a customized experience, then one-on-one, in person training might be the answer for you. We can help you figure out where the gaps in your knowledge are and then develop a training plan that works for your level of experience and time.
There you have it!
Three things you can do today to get you started on a path of creating a stellar online presence. Of course, if you need help with figuring any of this out, we are here for you! Just drop us a line and we’ll be happy to help you get going.
All the best in 2017!
