How are you improving the mileage of your business? Social media has the capacity to move your business to the next level, but there are still folks out there who think otherwise. There are still many businesses that are missing in action in the social media world.
Social media is everywhere. Facts don’t lie; social media has the capacity to boost your business more than anything else you’re currently spending money on. Check out these figures. There are 1.4 billion people on Facebook and 98% of them are within the age bracket of 18 and 24. Statisticsbrain.com estimates there are 2.1 billion Twitter search engine queries per day, with advertising revenue growing from $45,000 four years ago to $405 million last year. That’s a boatload of advertising revenue amongst some 190 million tweets per day.
About 1 billion people turn to YouTube every month. If you are not tapping into that vast market with your product, the question is – are your customers finding you?
Every minute spent without someone talking about your business is potential wasted. Digital marketing accounts for a huge chunk of the money that is driving business today. You probably just heard that Facebook bought WhatsApp for over $19 billion right? Mark Zuckerberg gave the reason: “More than 1 million people sign up for WhatsApp every day and it’s on its way to connecting a billion people. More and more people rely on WhatsApp to communicate with all of their contacts every day.”
According to the 2013 Nielsen report, nearly 90% of advertisers use free social media tools, with a projected increase of 64% last year alone. Research shows that one million views on YouTube could fetch the content maker $8,000 in revenue.
If you have been having less than spectacular results from your marketing, it might be time to change things up. So get up, get out there and make
your presence felt.
